How to Search the Holland Court Docket
Read the Holland citation or notice before you type anything. Indiana MyCase is the official public Odyssey interface. Its Case tab accepts case, citation, and cross-reference numbers. Name search takes a last or business name, plus an optional first name, middle name, or date of birth. CourtCal serves as a separate hearing-calendar source. A filed traffic case belongs to Dubois Superior Court, code 19D01.
- Copy the exact notice, citation, or case number and note any stated response date.
- Run MyCase Case search with that number before trying a name.
- If needed, use Name search and narrow by Dubois court, status, or filing dates.
- Open the result and read the CCS event list, setting, status, and public document links.
- Check CourtCal, then confirm the latest setting with the court shown on the notice.
MyCase leaves out sealed or confidential matters. Older records and documents that have not been posted are missing too. A missing Holland result can also mean the issue is still at a city stage. Call City Hall for the municipal question. For a filed case, call the court or the Clerk.
Holland Has No City Portal
Holland has no separate municipal court, public docket search, calendar, or payment portal. The Indiana Odyssey court list names Dubois Circuit Court as 19C01 and Dubois Superior Court as 19D01, with no Holland court code between them. So don't invent a city court for your docket search. And don't assume the town website holds a court file.
Search fact: Holland city government handles local questions, while a filed county traffic case is searched under Dubois Superior Court.
That gap matters. A city notice can tell you to act before any county CCS entry exists. Keep the original paper, and use its exact number. Ask whether the matter has been filed. If it has, request the assigned court and the county case number. If it has not, follow the city direction. Don't wait for MyCase to display a record.
The Holland Municipal Court
Holland's official town website offers municipal context only. It posts no court-office phone, no traffic-pay interface, no court calendar, and no trial-court code. Treat it as town information, not as a judicial portal or certified record source.
Once a traffic matter is filed, LR19-AR1-1 gives Superior Court exclusive traffic jurisdiction. The Clerk keeps the trial-court record there. Use the ticket for exact instructions. Use the town site for municipal context, and county offices for the judicial stage.
Holland Census and Docket Custody
Holland counted 619 residents in the official STATS Indiana 2020 Census table. The town homepage cites a different population figure, though. That civic setting helps you spot the right local government source. It does not create a courthouse or a separate Holland docket. A city web page may explain municipal services. It cannot certify a CCS held by the Dubois County Clerk.
| Question | Start here | Why |
|---|---|---|
| What does my city notice require? | Holland City Hall | It is the verified municipal contact |
| Was a traffic case filed? | Superior Court or Traffic Violation Bureau | Superior receives county traffic cases |
| Can I obtain a certified CCS? | Dubois County Clerk | The Clerk maintains and certifies the court file |
| Where is my hearing? | Latest order, CourtCal, and assigned court | A city homepage is not a hearing calendar |
Keep each source in its own role. That habit prevents a common Holland error: treating city contact information as though it were a searchable judicial record.
Holland Court Dates and Settings
A Holland hearing can show up on a citation or order, in the MyCase CCS, and in CourtCal. Those sources do not refresh at the same instant. Read the latest order first. Check the CCS for a reset or continuance, then use CourtCal to locate the setting. If the date, time, or location conflicts, call the assigned court.
| Date | The day shown for the current hearing event |
|---|---|
| Time | The scheduled time, subject to a later court order |
| Location | The courtroom or hearing location in the active setting |
| Judge or Court | The court responsible for the Holland-related case |
| Setting Type | Initial hearing, pretrial, motion, trial, plea, sentencing, or review |
Superior Court answers at 812-481-7070. Its Traffic Violation Bureau is 812-481-7071. Dubois offers no official reminder program and no confirmed daily printed calendar, so don't wait on a text or email about your Holland court date.
Holland Court Date Recovery
A missed or uncertain setting demands prompt contact. Preserve the Holland notice and case number. Open MyCase for the newest CCS entry and any linked order, then inspect CourtCal. Call Superior Court for a 19D01 case, or Circuit Court at 812-481-7020 for a 19C01 case; traffic starts with the Superior and Traffic Violation Bureau lines.
- Record the date that was missed and the court code.
- Read entries made after the original setting for a reset, order, or status change.
- Call the assigned court and ask what the public record now shows.
- Request the relevant CCS or order from the Clerk when a document is not online.
A reset moves an event; it is not a dismissal. A removal from the calendar can reflect a new date, a plea, a dismissal, or other scheduling action. Only the later entry or order shows what actually happened in the Holland-related case.
Holland Traffic Tickets
A traffic citation arising in Holland goes to Dubois Superior Court once it becomes a county judicial case. Search by citation number first. If the format is rejected, search by name and narrow to 19D01. Indiana ePay is a payment tool only when the ticket and court make that option available, and a payment there does not prove the matter is closed.
The citation controls the deadline and your response choices. Paying and contesting are different acts. Indiana State Police takes no payment. The court and the ticket set the route. The statewide help also warns that a displayed balance may be incomplete, so call the Clerk for the official figure.
If a Holland notice concerns only city administration, use the City Hall contact. If it lists Superior Court or a 19D01 case, follow the county court direction. That simple check keeps a municipal inquiry from getting tangled with the filed court docket.
Holland MyCase Access Image
The official MyCase help page explains what the public search can and cannot show.

A missing document link in MyCase does not mean the document does not exist. The public should contact the court or Clerk instead, and ask for the paper directly.
Where Holland Cases End Up
Holland's town government and the Dubois County courts keep their records apart. Traffic tickets and small claims go to Superior Court alone. Probate and juvenile cases belong only to Circuit Court. Either court can take other civil matters. Criminal filings follow the charge category, and the most serious charge decides where a Holland case lands first.
Docket flow: Holland city contact › Dubois County courts › Dubois County Circuit Court or Dubois County Superior Court
This routing shows custody only. It does not mean every Holland issue turns into a filed case. Once something is filed, MyCase and CourtCal offer the public digital view, and the Dubois County court docket shows how the county splits its work across both courts.
Holland Record Copy Fallback
For copies of county records tied to a Holland case, call the Clerk at 812-481-7035. Ask about certification while you are at it. Plain copies run $1 per page. Certification adds $3 per pleading. Certification with exemplification costs $6 per pleading. The county posts no Holland-specific copy form. When you order, give the case number, the court, the event or document you need, its date, and the copy type you want.
A transcript is different. Court reporters produce those, and MyCase does not carry them. For older Dubois County records, the Records Library at 812-481-7091 may hold the civil, probate, criminal, or marriage files. The distinctions matter in practice: a CCS lists events, a filed document holds the text behind an entry, and a transcript is the verbatim record of the hearing.
Holland Traffic Payment Boundary
Indiana ePay lets you pay an eligible Holland-related ticket. But it is not a town docket database. The ticket and the court decide whether online payment is even offered. A displayed balance can be incomplete, too. For the official state interface, use the Indiana public traffic payment portal, which the state's own page presents for eligible cases.

The image helps separate payment from the Holland CCS, hearing record, and final disposition.
Holland Federal Record Boundary
CourtListener and RECAP can supply federal docket material, yet neither certifies a Holland-related county CCS.

Check federal material against PACER or the federal court itself, and confirm county material with the Dubois County Clerk.
Public Access to Holland Court Records
Indiana's Rules on Access to Court Records lean toward openness, with a few carve-outs. On MyCase, you will see whatever public, nonconfidential court records the courts release online. Sealed files, juvenile matters, adoptions, confidential family cases, expunged records, protection-order papers, and protected identifiers stay off-limits or hidden. So a Holland docket search that comes back empty proves nothing about whether a case or filing exists.
Key Rules:
Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records establish access procedures and excluded court material.
Indiana Access to Public Records Act, IC 5-14-3 supplies the state public-records framework, while court records remain governed by judiciary rules.
When a public filing has no link in the docket, the Clerk's office can provide a copy. Parties named in a Holland case can use the "Is this your case?" process if their identity and address match, and they then receive an access code. Nobody should try to slip past a seal or dig out identifiers the court redacted from its records.
Holland Rule Change Context
The Indiana January 2026 proposed-rules page supplies dated context for state court rulemaking.

A proposed rule changes nothing yet: the current court-record rules, the CCS, and any standing order still govern a Holland case.
